Top Notch English Presentations

Recently, in Mrs. Hodgkiss' English III classrooms, the student-led presentations were "over the top."  Students were graded on Accuracy of content, visual appeal, evidence of prior planning, transitioning, and speaking skills.  Presentations included a summary of an assigned chapter from the book, The Great Gatsby.  Students were also to supply the setting, character analysis, symbolism, motif, vocabulary, theme discussion, significant quotes, as well as works cited.  The presentations could be on a storyboard or in power point format. Students listening to the presentations were able to ask questions to the presentors at the end of the presentation.

Great Job!
